Я решил поставить мультилок т.к. не хочется портить внешний вид замками. Система та же самая только штыри идут внутрь и защелкиваются изнутри.

LATCH LAUNCHED FOR LAND AND SEA 5/12/2007

A panel latch, trialled throughout 2007 in the exciting and exacting world of offshore power racing, receives its official launch at January’s Autosport Engineering Show, part of the Autosport International Show.

Following the success of its original AeroCatch, Specialty Fasteners and Components Ltd is set to display AeroCatch 2, a state-of the art alternative to conventional slide pin fasteners that will be suitable on both land and sea.

“We have been exhibiting at Autosport Engineering since 2000 and have been pleased with the quality and quantity of visitors over the years,” said Graham Leo of Specialty Fasteners. “We used the 2005 event to launch AeroCatch into the market and have expanded both dealers and users year on year.”

Since then the original AeroCatch has been found on a wide range of successful cars including Nobuhiro Tajima’s Pikes Peak conquering Suzuki Sport XL7 and the 2005 and 2006 British Touring Car Championship-winning Honda Civics.

“We are delighted to see that Autosport Engineering will be used to launch this exceptional example of British engineering,” says Haymarket Exhibitions’ Event Presenter Ian France. “Autosport International is the largest and most important motorsport show in Europe so I’m sure Specialty Fasteners will get great results.”

All the AeroCatch products are designed and manufactured in the South West of England and distributed to dealers around the world from a Totnes facility.

Ideal for securing frequently used panels, doors and drawers, AeroCatch 2 has many advantages including extended shear pin for edge latching, gloved hand operation, easy of fitment and painting and, significantly its marine quality.

Throughout the past season, AeroCatch 2 has been tested in the most vigorous conditions on the engine covers of the powerful Class 1 World Powerboat Championship, Chris Parsonage Racing ‘Negotiator’. The team liked the action of the original AeroCatch but wanted the access opening to be free of the conventional strike. To solve this problem Specialty Fasteners and Components modified the shear pin to extend past the end of the AeroCatch housing, thus allowing it to fasten directly into the access frame.
